The Hellenistic timelord technique zodiacal releasing is a powerful tool in natal astrology.
It allows the astrologer to break down a client’s life into a sequence of chapters and to better understand the timing around the fulfillment of a life’s promise, as well as identify particularly successful and challenging periods.
Can this technique be applied to mundane astrology? In this talk, we’ll explore this question, looking at examples in country charts around the world.
This will be an approximately two-hour talk. You’ll be able to ask questions during the stream.

The Awakening, The Flood And The Reckoning: Uranus, Neptune And Pluto In Concert
In this stream we’ll explore how successive sign transits of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are related to one another.
We’re going to see how Uranus’s transit through a sign brings moments of Promethean awakening to new insights, ways of being and technologies.
Later, when Neptune moves through the sign, it democratises, collectivises and spiritualises whatever Uranus has already awakened in us.
And finally, when Pluto moves through that same sign, those impulses and innovations are taken to extremes, turn deadly or become instruments of power, forcing a reckoning with their full implications.
In this stream I’ll present new research that makes the relations between the work of these three planets clearer than ever before.
This will help us to understand where the world is heading in the coming years as Neptune moves through Aries and Pluto transits Aquarius.

How Does Astrology Work?
In this livestream we’re going to explore possible answers to the question of how astrology really works.
We’ll consider some of the confounding aspects of astrology that make this question a more difficult one to answer than first meets the eye, and see why simplistic mechanistic explanations for astrology are doomed to failure.
With this in mind, we’ll approach the question from multiple angles relating to the four classical elements: fire, earth, air and water.
We’ll see how there are many frames for understanding astrology that make sense, and how the true “explanation” almost certainly brings together several of them into one framework.

Cyclical History: Is It All Just Astrology?
The mainstream model of how history is supposed to work is one of linear progress, from the supposedly primitive past to the technologically advanced present and future.
But many thinkers have posited that history, the rise and fall of civilizations, as well as economic cycles, are actually cyclical.
These range from ancient ideas like Hesiod’s Ages of Man, and the Hindu Yuga cycle, to Ibn Khaldun’s belief that civilisations last about 120 years, to Oswald Spengler’s vision of civilisations as organisms with a lifespan of about 1,000 years, to more recent ideas like Strauss-Howe Generational Theory and Peter Turchin’s theory of cliodynamics.
In this talk, we’re going to survey major thinkers’ ideas about cyclical history and see how many of them can be related to astrological cycles.
We’re going to consider what this tells us about the nature of history and time itself and see how it actually provides validation of astrology.

The Demiurge At Work: How Saturn Cycles Structure Our Reality
Gnostic thinkers have suggested that Saturn represents the demiurge, the false god that rules over material reality.
In this talk we’re going to see how certain planetary cycles reveal Saturn’s role in creating the institutions that structure reality itself.
In particular we’re going to see how conjunctions between Saturn and the outer planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto coincide with the establishment of major global institutions, technologies and belief systems, and signify major changes to the way power structures govern the world.

Egregores At War: The Astrology Of Woke And The Alt-Right
In this talk we’re going to examine recent cultural and political history through the lens of astrology. In particular, we’re going to look at the rise over the past decade of “wokeness” and its shadow: what used to be called the “alt-right”.
Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a rant about either of those things - I think we’ve all heard enough of those.
Using astrology and taking a relatively objective perspective, we’re going to try to take the “god’s eye view” of these cultural phenomena. We’ll trace their emergence and look at the planetary cycles and transits that signaled them. We’ll see how mundane astrology can shed light on the cultural trends that, for better or worse, end up shaping politics and society.

The Hermetic Age: Astrology, Secrecy and Breakaway Civilisations
Prominent commentators in alternative media such as author Joseph P Farrell, financial specialist Catherine Austin Fitts and UFO historian Richard Dolan have spoken extensively of the existence of a “breakaway civilization”. The existence of the UFO phenomenon, and the alleged secret development of technology to replicate the capabilities of UFOs by some of the United States’s most powerful aerospace companies, suggests that the existence of such an entity is at least plausible.
In this talk, we’ll consider how astrology might offer confirmation that a secret breakaway civilization with access to advanced technology really does exist. In particular, we’ll consider the Hermetic undercurrents of the current times, indicated by conjunctions of Pluto and Neptune taking place in the sign of Gemini, the sign of Mercury-Hermes. We’ll see how in the previous Pluto-Neptune cycle, from 1398 to 1891, we saw a comparable situation to that of the present day.
We’ll consider what all this tells us about where the world is heading and ask a pointed question: is the breakaway civilization about to break back in?

Yes, this talk will be ambitious. Yes, I’ll undoubtedly fail at comprehending the magnitude of the shifts coming in the next few years. But damn it, I’m going to try.

Hot Degrees: How Transits Activate The Promise Of Conjunctions
In this talk, we’ll explore a key technique in mundane astrology - the idea of “hot degrees”. When a significant astrological event, such as an eclipse or a planetary conjunction, takes place at a particular place in the zodiac, those degrees become energised. When planets subsequently transit those degrees, they activate the promise of the earlier astrological event.
We’ll look at historical examples of this technique in action, seeing how important world events, such as the invention of the printing press, the outbreak of the American Revolution and, more recently, the launch of the current UFO disclosure process came when planets transited hot degrees.
Then we’ll turn our attention to the future and forecast developments in the coming years relating to AI, UFO disclosure and zero-point energy technology.

Saturn-Neptune 2026: The KEY to cycle prediction
In this talk, we’ll explore a technique allowing us to easily predict what will happen at a conjunction between two planets in advance, and thus what a future planetary synodic cycle will be about.
In particular, we’ll see how the closing squares of ongoing planetary cycles foreshadow events coming at conjunctions.
We’ll apply this technique to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction of 2025-2026 to get insights into major world events over the next couple of years.

Leaving the Kali Yuga: The Great Year, Precession and Cyclical Catastrophe
In this talk, we’ll consider the biggest cycle astrologers are concerned with: the precession of the equinoxes and the 25,800-year “Great Year”. Then we’ll unpack various ideas about the Kali Yuga and consider whether we’re still in it. In particular, we’ll focus on the work of two authors, one of whom claims the Kali Yuga ended in 1900, the other claims the Kali Yuga will end in 2025, and initiate a 1,200-year period of “ekpyrosis” (cleansing by fire).
