The Most Dangerous Astrology Since The Cuban Missile Crisis
2026 is not the kind of year that allows us a gentle lead-in while we review our resolutions and idly ponder what the future holds. It is coming in hot.
In last month’s forecast, I discussed how the astrology of early December 2025 would foreshadow the major themes of 2026. Specifically, I noted that the December 5th Full Moon in Gemini would likely bring news regarding German rearmament.
That prediction has now come to pass. On the exact day of that Full Moon, Germany’s Parliament approved a new military service law aimed at countering the "Russian threat," allowing for the reintroduction of conscription. This move is ominous, particularly as we look toward the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius coming up in February.
But as we turn the page to January, the astrology suggests we are moving from foreshadowing into the main event.
The Triple Conjunction: Alliances Made and Broken
2026 begins with remarkable astrology: a triple conjunction of the Sun, Mars, and Venus in Capricorn, all opposing Jupiter in Cancer.
While Sun-Mars-Venus conjunctions occur roughly every 6.5 years, this one is unique because both planets will be "cazimi" (in the heart of the Sun) almost simultaneously between January 6th and 9th.
This is a volatile combination. Mars and Venus represent the "Lovers"—passion and desire—but when combined with the Sun in mundane astrology, they often signify the high-stakes sealing and breaking of alliances.
The Hellenistic astrologer Vettius Valens noted that this combination causes men to be "thought worthy of alliances" but that their "friendships do not last". Historically, we have seen this play out in moments like Donald Trump breaking off peace talks with the Taliban (2019) or the hasty announcement of a BRICS bank (2013) where details couldn't be agreed upon.
Expect January to bring flashy summits and celebrated agreements between world leaders—but do not be surprised if they are unstable or short-lived.
Echoes of 1993: The Uranus-Neptune Connection
What makes this triple conjunction even more fascinating is where it falls: 18 and 19 degrees of Capricorn.
These are the exact degrees where Uranus and Neptune conjoined in 1993, starting their current 171-year cycle. When we stimulate these degrees, we reactivate the themes of the early 90s: the end of the Cold War, the formation of the EU, and the beginning of the "Disclosure" movement regarding UFOs.
We may see these themes resurface in early January, particularly involving the interstellar object 3i/Atlas. The object’s discovery chart features a Midheaven at 15 degrees Capricorn—a degree the Sun, Mars, and Venus will pass over around January 5th and 6th. My hunch is we will see official announcements or significant developments regarding this object or the broader disclosure topic.
The Lunations: Peace Talks and Power Grabs
The Full Moon in Cancer (January 3) Occurring at 13 degrees of Cancer, this Full Moon hits the Sun of the US Sibly chart and the UK Labour government chart exactly. Given the 1993 "peace" themes mentioned above, we could see a push for peace negotiations—perhaps even a meeting between US and Russian leadership on arms control. However, like the triple conjunction, these moves may face intense criticism and instability.
The New Moon in Capricorn (January 18) This New Moon at 28 degrees Capricorn is flanked by Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto. It highlights themes of seniority and administrative power. With a trine from Uranus, it is a potent time for visioning new structures or using technology to take control of administrative areas of life.
Mars Conjunct Pluto: The "Global Civil War"
The defining aspect of the month arrives on January 27th, when Mars conjoins Pluto at 3 degrees of Aquarius.
Mars-Pluto alignments combine force with the martial urge to act, often bringing violence or covert warfare. I believe the great powers are already at war, but it is a "hybrid" war fought in the shadows rather than open battlefields.
This conjunction looks particularly dangerous for Eastern Europe. The degree of this conjunction (3° Aquarius) hits the Descendant of Ukraine's independence chart—the angle of open enemies. Simultaneously, almost all of Russia's key charts have placements in these early degrees of Aquarius.
The foreshadowing for this was dark: at the last Mars-Pluto square in September 2025, we saw Zelensky appeal to the UN and Putin order the largest military draft in nine years.
Neptune Returns to Aries: A Fight for Sovereignty
On the very same day—January 27th—Neptune re-enters Aries.
Neptune in Aries brings a fiery, warrior ethos to the collective mood. Historically, this transit has coincided with bloody internal conflicts, including the U.S. Civil War.
While many are asking if this is the start of World War III, I believe that term might be misleading. Instead, we are looking at a renegotiation of the post-WWII settlement—a kind of "Global Civil War".
This is not necessarily about Armageddon. It is a fight for individual sovereignty in a world increasingly dominated by the impersonal forces of technology and technocracy.
Bonus: The 1962 Parallel
For channel members, the bonus section of this month's video explores the incredible Aquarius Stellium of February 1962.
On that day, all seven traditional planets were in Aquarius, sparking fears of the apocalypse and predictions of the Antichrist's birth. While the world didn't end, the Cuban Missile Crisis followed months later—and culturally, the Beatles were "born" on that very day.
It serves as a powerful reminder: even the most ominous astrology often manifests in ways that change the world culturally rather than destroying it physically.
